Ohio Stereo Photographic Society The Ohio Stereo Photographic Society is a group of stereo photography enthusiasts based in Northeast Ohio but with members across the state and the country.
We are actively involved with US and International Stereo groups and are working actively to keep 3D photography alive and well.
We are a friendly, welcoming group (visitors are always welcome) and the Society has a place for people interested in creating new stereo images, including digital images, printed images and slide images. Our members are interested in, and are very knowledgeable about, the history of stereo photography, stereo views and stereo memorabilia collecting.
Our Activities Include
- We meet ten times a year to share workshops and lectures on a wide variety of stereo topics
- We hold nine members-only competitions during our season (September to June) and our judges struggle to bestow awards on the best images of the competition.
- In 2018 and 2019, the OSPS hosted the National Stereo Association 3D Convention in Cleveland and Akron. Our members supported and attended these conventions.
- For many years, we have hosted the Ohio International Stereo Exhibition (OISE), a juried digital image exhibition attracting submissions from around the world. The OISE is sanctioned by the Photographic Society of America (PSA)
- Our members and our club participate in individual and Stereo Club Competitions, frequently taking high honors.
